“Well she was telling me about the things she enjoyed doing on land. One of which was shopping.” He moved his hands as he spoke, “I had no idea what shopping was until after she showed me. I am used to my servants bringing me clothes specifically tailored to me.” A chuckle escaped his lips, “It started out as a shopping adventure and turned into a date.” He bowed and grinned, “I beg your pardon, I forgot to introduce myself. “Well you have to travel through a magic veil of sorts to get to it.” He brushed his hair back and smiled widely, “It is quite marvelous though. There are valleys, meadows, streams, forests, and many splendid creatures who roam about.”
“That does sound splendid. Now tell me Edward, What is going on between you and my Daughter?”
“Well your daughter is my ‘girlfriend’. I have never quite used that term before.” He flourished his hand, “I am much more used to term of courting, but I understand that other places have different ideals of a relationship than Andalasia does.” He chuckled, “We simply go on dates, but of course I pay for dinner. I recently invited her to attend a banquet at my castle though.”
“G-girlfriend?” She is shocked “You are her boyfriend? Well, Adella has had many ‘flings’ but not many boyfriends.. I’d be careful with her.”
“Never fear, madam.” He grinned, “She is free to decide whether she enjoys my company, or not. I shall not hold it against her if she decides on a different path.”
“I see, well she would be lucky to have someone like you Prince Edward.” She smiled at him
